What We Do

At Moonbaby Creative, we create spaces for dialogue, reflection, and shared learning among early childhood educators, caregivers, and leaders. Through workshops, mentorship, and research-based presentations, we explore progressive approaches to education and child development.

Drawing from a decade of experience working with young children, we provide practical strategies for common challenges, including behavior management and curriculum development, while fostering a culture of lifelong learning. Our approach is rooted in constructivist principles, play-based learning, risk-taking, and inclusion—always centering the child’s experience and the critical role of relationships in early education.

Who We Are

Early years pedagogue Danielle McCrea founded Moonbaby Creative in 2022 after co-authoring a presentation for the international early childhood conference Play on Athens. The presentation, which focused on the importance of play in helping children process crisis, led to the launch of Danielle's work as a consultant, working directly with teachers, early childhood education (ECE) leaders, and parents through one-on-one trainings and workshops. Danielle has extensive experience in early childhood settings across the US and Israel, with a background spanning education and media. A passionate advocate for young children and the people who care for them, she works to promote the value of childhood culture and the importance of elevating the status of children within society.

Our Work with Educators

We believe that teachers of young children are among the world’s best people. Their bottomless empathy, boundless compassion, keen sense of joy and unmatched flexibility are qualities that simply make this planet a better place. Teaching young children requires emotional, intellectual and physical work. We honor all aspects of this practice and work holistically with educators to dialogue, reflect, play and learn together. We offer one-on-one coaching, teacher training, and custom workshops for educators and schools.
